If you need a little patriotic inspiration for an upcoming 4th of July party or summer event, then I suggest you whip up these red, white, & blueberry spritzers. They are colorful, fun, and super easy to make. I tested them out with a few friends last night that we had over to cheer on our fellow Americans in the World Cup. The cocktails were well received, and everyone seemed to enjoy the fresh fruit and festive straws. If you aren’t a fan of champagne then swap it out for a little vodka. Also, this can easily become a mocktail by using ginger ale, sprite or club soda… adds the fizz that it needs. #proudtobeanamerican #USA

Red, White & Blueberry Spritzers – serves 5

• fill 5 glasses with crushed or cubed ice
• add a few fresh blueberries and chopped strawberries
• fill glass 3/4 of the way with champagne or prosecco
• splash a little light cranberry juice on top
